Recently the Department of Education and Skills directed a minimum time that must be allocated to a class period in schools. In line with this we have made some changes to our timetable for the coming 2017/2018 academic year. The main points to note are:
- All class periods are of 40 minutes duration
- The first class begins at 08.55 each morning
- Classes finish at 15.50 on both Monday and Tuesday and at 15.10 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
- The morning break extends from 10.55 to 11.10 each day
- Lunch is from 13.10 to 13.50 each day (ie lunch break is 40 minutes long)
