Our Transition Year students have been very busy recently producing a radio programme as part of their English and Communications module.
This year's programme takes on some of the issues facing young people in County Clare, including technology, addiction and mental health. The students invited Councillor Mary Howard, Juvenile Liason Garda Albert Hardiman, Kirsty Donnellan and Patrick Taaffe from Bushypark Addiction Treatment Centre, our Principal Brian O'Donoghue and Deputy Principals Yvonne Walsh and Niall Murphy to participate in the programme.

The programme was written, researched and produced by the students themselves, with the help of their teachers Margaret Moynihan and Paddy Gleeson, and Peter O’Connell Communications. The programme will be aired next Sunday night on Clare FM at 10pm. Tune in and listen to the concerns of our young people today.
